This policy explains what information shortstopty.com collects, why it is collected, where it is stored, and how you can ask for it to be deleted. It applies to the application form on this website and to the Google Drive access used only to save application videos.
Who we are
shortstopty.com receives applications for an operations role with a baseball brand. The contact for privacy questions and deletion requests is shortstopty@gmail.com.
Information from applicants
If you submit the form, we collect the information you enter:
- your name
- your email address
- your phone number
- the video file you choose to upload
The hosting provider also records the IP address and the time of the submission. That record is used only to block spam and repeated uploads. Applicants do not sign in with a Google account.
Google user data
shortstopty.com accesses Google user data only through the Google Drive API, with one site-owned Google account. The Google user data accessed is the video file from an application and the file link created for that video. Applicants do not sign in with Google. The site does not access Gmail, contacts, calendar, or any other Google product.
The application uses this Google user data only to provide the application service: it stores the video in one designated Google Drive folder and retrieves the file link so the operator can open that video.
Google user data is shared only with the site operator who reviews the application, at shortstopty@gmail.com. It is not transferred or disclosed to any other party. GoDaddy hosts this website and delivers the application email. Google stores the video file in Google Drive. These providers process the information only so the email can be delivered and the file can be stored.
Security procedures are in place to protect this data. The form is sent over HTTPS. Access to the Google Drive folder is limited to the site account that was granted access.
The video and its Google Drive file are retained while the application is being reviewed. When that retention period ends, the file is deleted from the Google Drive folder. You may request deletion sooner by emailing shortstopty@gmail.com.
How the information is used
Applicant details are used to review the application and to reply about the role. A message with the name, email, phone number, and video link is sent to shortstopty@gmail.com. The video file itself is stored in the designated Google Drive folder.
Who else processes it
GoDaddy hosts the website and sends the application email. Google stores the video file in Google Drive. These providers process the information only to deliver the email and store the file.
How long it is kept
Applications and videos are kept while the role is being reviewed. When the information is no longer needed, it is deleted from email records and from the Google Drive folder. You may request deletion sooner by emailing shortstopty@gmail.com.
Security
The form is sent over HTTPS. Access to the Google Drive folder is limited to the site account that was granted access. No payment card data is collected.
